Overview
Business Development Manager - Flotation
Base pay range: A$100,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr
This role will focus on expanding Eriez's customer base, developing strategic partnerships, and driving aftermarket and capital equipment sales for Eriez Flotation across Australia and South East Asia.
The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of mineral processing markets, a proven ability to build relationships, and the commercial skills to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for flotation equipment and aftermarket solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with mining companies, EPCMs, and service providers across the region
Drive market development strategies in Australia and South East Asia, including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and opportunity pipelines
Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and product management teams to deliver tailored solutions
Develop proposals, lead negotiations, and close contracts to achieve revenue and growth targets
Represent Eriez at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
Provide market intelligence and feedback to support product development and regional strategy
Qualifications
Degree in Mining, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field)
Minimum 5 years\' experience in business development, sales, or account management within mineral processing, ideally with flotation technology
Strong technical understanding of flotation circuits, equipment, and processing challenges
Proven track record of sales growth and market expansion
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
Willingness to travel extensively across Australia and South East Asia
