About the Role
- Manage the overall implementation of safety, health and environment systems, strategies and initiatives to effectively contribute to the delivery of health and safety objectives and targets of MSH Project Programs
- Play a leadership role to achieve, maintain, and improve performance and compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations, By-laws, Australian Standards, Queensland Health asset management policies and directives by ensuring that the policies, plans, procedures, work instructions, QA tools and templates are endorsed and implemented across the program.
- Review of contractor(s) safety management plans, SWMS, safe work systems and provide guidance on enhancement and implementation, monitoring ongoing compliance.
- Undertake inspections and auditing of work practices ascertaining compliance with legislation and approved policy/guidelines
