- The role of the Customer Service / Production Assistant is an in-house role incorporating both production duties and Customer Service responsibilities.

Customer Service

Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide an effective interface between the business and its customers.

The CSR provides support to a market-leading range of custom-made compression garments. Key customers include hospitals (public and private) and private therapists (Occupational and Physiotherapists).

The CSR is required to understand the customers' requirements and the company's capability of meeting these. The CSR manages the customer's expectations of service and ensures that these expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible. Important to success in the role is a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Production Assistant

Responsible for assisting in the development and production of custom compression garments. Predominantly in the role of cutting

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

**Position Functions**
- Managing and optimising telephone contact between customers and client.- Determining and fulfilling customer requirements and managing customer expectations (includes processing of customer orders, providing information on products, availability, pricing etc.). This function involves a great deal of liaison with Divisional staff, internal operational staff and freight carriers, etc. Liaising with designers to ensure garments produced correctly and despatched according to client's request.- Scheduling the production of garments using strong organization & planning skills and communicating this to the other team members.- Despatch of finished goods using online software provided.- Establishing a "preferred supplier" relationship with key customers by being proactive in meeting individual customer requirements and "adding value" to our service.
- Continuously improving client's service processes and operations by taking the initiative to identify and analyse problems, measure performance, co-ordinate action to improve processes, solve problems and eliminate causes of problems.

Supporting field staff by efficient communication of relevant information and response to requests.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Expected Hours**
- 38 hours per week / Monday to Friday - 07:54am to 4pm

**Travel**
- Some local travel may be required however is unlikely.

**Education**
**Licenses/Certifications**
- No specific requirements.

**Experience**
- 3 Years minimum experience in a customer service role.
- 3 Years minimum experience in a production role (preferred).

**Other (technical knowledge etc.)**
- An understanding of computer systems and a degree of familiarity with their use is also required.
- Good garment technical skills.

**Competencies**
- A good knowledge of customers, products, marketing strategy, personnel and systems within the clothing industry.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as are well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail are essential.

**Salary $70K+super**
