About Us

Vic's Premium Quality Meat (VPQM) is a leading provider in the food service industry, specialising in high-quality meat products. From our Laverton North facility, we are committed to delivering excellence to our customers while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity in everything we do.

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Production Workers in our warehouse and processing operations.

The Role

This is a casual role with full-time hours, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position following successful completion of probation and in line with applicable legislation.

As a Production Worker, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient handling, processing, and packaging of meat products. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will contribute directly to meeting production targets while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and organise raw materials and finished goods.
  • Operate machinery and equipment for processing and packaging meat products.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in warehouse, production, or food service is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated and freezer areas).
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25kg.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and willing to work 5.5 days per week, including Saturdays (5 hours).
  • Early morning availability (4:30am start).
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices is a plus.
