We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team in a customer service and inventory support role.

Location: Footscray, Melbourne
Employment Type: Part-time

Metta Melbourne is a women's wear clothing label that celebrates natural fibre clothing and thoughtful craftsmanship. Based in Footscray, our small team is passionate about slow fashion and creating timeless garments that are as practical as they are beautiful. We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team in a customer service and inventory support role.

About the Role

As our Customer Service & Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our online, wholesale, and appointment-only in-store customers. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines order fulfilment, customer service, inventory management, and care of our garments.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service across online, wholesale, and in-person channels
- Pick, pack, and dispatch online and wholesale orders
- Manage and update inventory using Shopify and inFlow inventory systems
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory organisation
- Oversee garment care, including folding, steaming, labelling, and the occasional minor mending
- Coordinate local laundry and dyeing logistics
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming studio space
- Work collaboratively with the team and independently on tasks as needed

Who We're Looking For
- Someone with excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach to their work
- A friendly communicator who enjoys delivering thoughtful customer experiences
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
- Willing to roll up your sleeves and help with all aspects of running a small fashion label
- Experience with Shopify, inFlow Inventory, and Google Workspace is highly desirable
- A genuine appreciation for natural fibres, slow fashion, and sustainability is a bonus
