Application Support Specialist required to work in a small internal IT team for a dynamic, exciting, and modern company leading the self-storage market. With over 200 stores covering both Australia & New Zealand & growing, we are looking at hiring an engaged, motivated, and diligent Application Support Specialist to join our team.

Great communications skills are needed and an appetite for problem solving whilst being good with numbers is a requirement as you will be assisting with the correction of customer billing transactions within our storage management software as well as needing to be able to guide team members remotely through trouble shooting processes by phone where needed.

The role will see you assisting our great team of people that are remotely located throughout Australia & New Zealand with our storage facilities and head office hub locations offering a wide variety of support requests on a day-to-day basis as well as providing opportunity to complete group projects in an environment that encourages ownership and input to help in streamlining systems and processes for the benefit of our company and culture.

**Day to day activities will see you generally assisting in the following tasks**:

- Correcting errors created by users of our management software in the process of moving customers in and out of storage as well as correcting any financial or receipting errors
- Reporting and liaising with our software providers in relation to software bugs and improvement requests
- Assisting in site down events by liaising with software providers if issues are unable to be resolved internally.
- Assisting and escalation of any I.T complications relating to printer & scanner difficulties, networking problems, CCTV help, internet outages, Windows operating system issues and other I.T outages to our external IT help desk provider
- Assistance with maintaining compliance and controlling cyber security processes and protocols to increase and maintain digital security of our systems, company and customers data
- Assist in the upgrade, replacement and supply of I.T infrastructure such as PCs, multi-function printers, mobile phones and tablets to both new and existing stores
- Assist in accurate record keeping of requests for support to allow for appropriate training and reporting to be compiled by our operations management team
- Liaising with our external support provider when escalating tier (3) requests where needed

Applicants with prior experience in a similar tier (1) support role or with experience in either the self-storage industry or similar operated rental or hire environments would be an advantage.

Specific IT certification is welcomed but not a requirement. Applicants with a technical background and strong interest in I.T with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Full training in relation to our industry specific software will be provided.
