**About the role**:
We are seeking a Workers Compensation Manager to be responsible for driving best practice in injury prevention, injury management and Worker's Compensation / return to work for DON. Our Health and Wellbeing Manager will also be responsible for the development and implementation of Health and Wellbeing programs and activity.

As part of our HSE team located at Castlemaine, you will work across our manufacturing and farms facilities to embed a safety culture where all employees see their role as leaders in safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implementation of injury management policy, procedures, systems and strategy in line with GWF, Don and legal requirements
- Development of Don wide strategic and operational plans and strategies for the prevention and management of injuries, and strategic management of Worker's Compensation claims
- Analysis of injury and other data and definition of intervention strategies
- Development of injury management quality assurance and system improvement processes
- Design and delivery of health and well-being programs including education provision
- Coaching of stakeholders to ensure ongoing improvement in competence and capability across Don
- Management of external Injury Management / Health Providers
- 1/4ly reporting to Executive Team

**About you**:
We are seeking a highly consultative, collaborative and driven individual who is able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence change. You will have:

- Previous experience in a Workers Compensation or HSE role (desirable)
- Proven experience identifying and deploying process improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to work in a diverse FMCG labour intensive food manufacturing environment
