Workers Compensation Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective management of workers compensation claims, ensuring timely and efficient processing, liaising with relevant parties, and identifying and resolving any barriers to achieving a full return to pre-injury work.

This includes:

  • Developing and implementing outcome-focused return-to-work plans in collaboration with injured employees, managers, and healthcare providers;
  • Facilitating effective recovery and reintegration into the workplace, whilst minimising claim/premium costs;
  • Liaising with Workers Compensation insurance Agencies and providing support for employees with non-work related injuries.

The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of Victorian Workers Compensation legislation, including the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

In addition, they will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure seamless claims management and resolution.
