We are a Sydney based construction company who concentrate in providing quality formwork, steel fixing and concreting services to builders, developers and government organisations.

We are currently seeking a Formworker with a minimum of min 5 years' industry experience to join our team and work with us on job sites Sydney-wide.

This role will have a 3 month probationary period for both the employer and employee.

**The Role**:

- Reporting to company Directors daily and keeping communication and updates regular
- Read & interpret plans to execute formwork reo & concrete
- Occasional hand unloads from site deliveries if the need arises
- Able to meet construction deadlines
- Capable of running teams of 5 to 20 men efficiently and productively to meet programme
- Able to set out site for formwork
- Able to read reinforcement details on plan, reo marking plans, & schedules
- Ability to give Steelfixer and concreters directions and ensure quality control
- Able to erect & dismantle formwork
- Correct and safe use of all hand and power tools as well as elevated platforms
- Ability to build Conventional and Formwork Systems
- Construction and preparation of decks, walls, stairs and columns
- Working levels with lasers (provided)
- Correctly install AFS and Dincel Polymer walls
- Qualified Carpenter with white card (min 10 yrs experience in formwork carpentry)
- Must have a valid NSW drivers licence - HR licence advantageous not necessary
- Has a basic understanding of steel fixing and concreting practices
- Must have own tools - nail bag, hammer, tape, level, circular saw at minimum
- Good knowledge of the Sydney Metro area
- Excellent driving record
- Positive attitude towards safety and working in a team
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to seeing a task to completion
- Excellent communication skills with team, clients and other trades
- An understanding of formwork material and job site terminology
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol and police check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Formwork: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- HR Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
