**Job Title**: Leading Hand Formworker
**Location**: Sydney and Surrounding Areas

Cappercullen Constructions are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Formworker to join our growing team for various construction projects across Sydney and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership skills and extensive formwork experience to take the next step in their career.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of formworkers on-site, ensuring efficient and quality workmanship
- Coordinate daily tasks and allocate resources to meet project deadlines
- Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings
- Oversee the construction of formwork for concrete slabs, walls, columns, and other structures
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and site procedures
- Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
- Monitor material usage and minimise waste
- Keep record of deliveries to site and material usage on site

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a formworker, with at least 5 years in the construction industry
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role (Leading Hand/Foreman experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of formwork systems and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/plans accurately
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Own transport and tools preferred
- Strong commitment to safety
