Experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor (Carpentry & Concrete Experience) – Boutique Residential Builder

Sydney North Shore (St Ives & Willoughby)

6-Month Contract | Extension or Full-Time Opportunity

Start Date: Late September 2025

We are a small but growing boutique residential builder seeking an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to help kick-start two upcoming projects:

  • $1M Renovation in St Ives
  • $2.5M Custom Home in Willoughby

This is a minimum 6-month contract role with the potential to extend or transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on site leader who can take charge of day-to-day site operations. You'll be responsible for coordinating trades, ensuring workmanship is to a high standard, and keeping the program on track. With office-based project management and contracts administration supporting the role, this position is all about boots on the ground, quality control, and driving progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
  • Ensure quality workmanship, particularly in carpentry, formwork, and concrete
  • Keep site operations moving smoothly and in line with the build program
  • Monitor compliance with BCA, NCC, and relevant Australian Standards
  • Promote a safe and productive site culture
  • Use Buildertrend for site reporting and updates (training available if required)
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Leading Hand on residential projects
  • Strong practical knowledge of carpentry, formwork, and concrete
  • Understanding of BCA/NCC and construction standards
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
  • Ability to drive productivity and maintain high-quality finishes
  • Experience with Buildertrend (or willingness to learn)
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering successful projects
