**About the Position**

The City of Perth is looking for a high-performing Corporate Governance Lead who is an expert in their field, to join our Corporate Planning and Performance Team.

With previous experience in leading, motivating and developing a team of skilled professionals, you will be responsible for the City of Perth's Corporate Governance Framework, inclusive of the Corporate Policy Framework, Complaints Management Framework and Employee Code of Conduct, ensuring statutory compliance and alignment with the City's integrated planning framework.

Reporting to the Alliance Manager Corporate Planning and Performance, this position will support the City by:

- Overseeing the City's Corporate Registers including primary & annual returns, declarations of interests, declarations of gifts, secondary employment, statutory authorisations, cards & document execution.
- Undertaking complex governance projects, requiring both detailed and high-level analysis as required.
- Developing and delivering training programs to enhance employees' understanding of legislative obligations in a local government environment.
- Overseeing and implementing the City's Complaints Management Framework including tracking, escalation, and reporting, ensuring all complaints are processed in accordance with the City's Complaints Management Framework.
