**Who you will be working with**:
Established in 1981, J&D Contracting is a quality accredited Brisbane based company providing a complete range of building maintenance and disability services for government and private sector clients throughout Queensland.

**What you will be doing**:
Due to ongoing business growth, we require a multi-skilled administrative superstar who will be managing both day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks, supporting individuals and teams across the business.

Supporting the general operation of the office and administrative functions of the business, including:

- Managing the life-cycle of our sub-contractors, from onboarding to ensure all are compliant with both our and regulatory requirements
- Setting up of new customers and suppliers
- Maintenance of the shared file and document structure, taking ownership of the document control process
- Maintaining and updating of our internal guides, manuals and operational procedures
- Taking all incoming general phone queries and redirecting as required
- Maintaining and updating phone lists & speed dial/printer systems
- Ordering and distributing uniforms
- Maintaining office and kitchen supplies
- Supporting the Fleet & Asset Coordinator to maintain our asset records in simPRO
- Troubleshooting simPRO (training provided), phone and computer issues, working with external IT consultant to procure and maintain assets
- Updating of safety documents and document registers, working with our safety consultants to meet compliance and external regulations
- Sort and deliver mail as required
- Other ad-hoc administration duties as required, e.g. organising travel

**About You**

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with a professional and dedicated team and taking full ownership of their role.
- 3 + Years in an administration/ERP
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude with an excellent level of service delivery and stakeholder management
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Experience with simPRO (highly desirable) or the willingness to learn a new platform
- Data entry, database management and strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible attitude with an ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
