Trident Services Australia is seeking a highly experienced, suitably qualified, and motivated career professional to oversee our Event and Operations Centre in Brisbane.
**About the role**
The Events and Operations Centre Coordinator is a split position between the Trident Events Team and the Trident Operations Centre (TOC). This role is critical in the planning and delivery of events to support existing and future clients of Trident and includes an end-to-end responsibility and accountability for successful delivery. It requires a person who is experienced with operational planning for events (or similar experience) with a detailed understanding of the Security Risk Management Framework. This will form the majority of the work requirements in this position.
A secondary requirement of this role is to fill the responsibilities of the TOC Coordinator in a relieving capacity for the full-time TOC Coordinators. This position requires a person with the flexibility to conduct shift work, including overnight shifts.
Your ability to effectively deliver these services will be supported by site-based human resources, training, and operations personnel. Our national team of training, compliance and corporate services professionals will also provide support, as they do for Trident's network of retail, commercial, entertainment, aviation, and government sites throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Understand the key clients and regularly meet to forecast future events
- Maintain the Operational Management System during events for incident reporting
- Forecasting major events and conducting lead planning
- Ensuring all Security Officers have the required training and licences prior to events
- Maintaining and managing the Trident Operational Shift log in BA365
- Ensuring all critical incidents are logged
- Ensuring all actions taken on shift are notated
- Reviewing incident data from all operational sites
- Providing advice on incident notification as they occur and triaging and management of recorded incidents
- Managing shift coverage
- Liaising with supervisors and staff whilst on shift
- Providing lone worker management controls
- Providing general control room/operations centre assistance
- 5 years event or operational management experience in an operations role as part of the services industry, police or defence
- Demonstrated experience in high tempo environments utilising Incident and Operational Management Systems
- Understanding of the QLD Security Providers Act
- Flexible; adapting to change and reprioritising
- Team player attitude and work ethic; being respectful, helpful and working cooperatively with your colleagues
- Achievement-oriented mind-set; finishing tasks and projects, you can see a task or project from its inception to completion
- Experience with BA365 and Kronos Rostering System
**Qualifications**
Whilst not essential the following qualifications are desirable
- Certificate/Diploma in Operations Management
- Risk Management qualifications
- Detailed understanding of the Security Award
