Job Title: Events and Operations Centre Coordinator

The role of an Events and Operations Centre Coordinator is a crucial one, requiring a highly experienced and motivated individual to oversee event planning and delivery. This position plays a key part in supporting existing and future clients by ensuring seamless operational execution.

This person will be responsible for forecasting future events, conducting lead planning, and managing shift coverage. They must also ensure that all necessary training and licenses are up-to-date for Security Officers and maintain incident reporting systems during events.

The ideal candidate will possess 5 years' experience in event or operational management, preferably in the services industry, police, or defence. They should have demonstrated experience in high-tempo environments using Incident and Operational Management Systems and have a solid understanding of the QLD Security Providers Act.

In this role, you will work closely with supervisors and staff while on shift, providing advice on incident notification and triaging incidents. You will also be responsible for managing lone worker management controls and providing general control room/operations centre assistance.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing priorities and have a team player attitude and work ethic. You should also have a respectful, helpful, and cooperative approach, as well as an achievement-oriented mindset.

Key Requirements:

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate/Diploma in Operations Management
  • Risk Management qualifications

  • Experience with BA365 and Kronos Rostering System
