**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**:
We, at Flywire, are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable** Financial Operations Supervisor** to join our team. Reporting directly to the Financial Operations Manager, you will manage a team of 1-3 individuals and provide financial and operational support for our insurance and international payments business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Providing support to insurance renewals and extensions
- Handling reconciliations, refunds, commissions, and daily, weekly, and monthly payments
- Processing payments and documents, such as invoices and journal vouchers, into the company's accounting software
- Posting financial data to appropriate accounts in the accounting system
- Entering, updating, and retrieving accounting data from systems
- Reconciling transactions, financial data, and other information to the company's accounting system
- Managing the company's accounting software
- Performing banking, invoicing, and credit card reconciliation
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and ensuring the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and compliance with statutory requirements
- Classifying tax and preparing BAS reporting
- Verifying compliance
- Maintaining internal control systems
- Conducting ad-hoc research activities as required

**Qualifications**:
**Here's What We're Looking For**:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a role related to accounting, operations, and customer support
- A Bachelor's Degree in a finance or accounting related field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Customer-focused with proven interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and escalation abilities
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Preferred experience in the international education sector.
