Accounting Team Supervisor Position Overview

A prominent global law firm is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their operations team. The organization operates with a commitment to excellence and innovation, serving as a trusted adviser to top corporates, financial institutions, and governments worldwide.

About the Role

This role involves supervising a small team of account payable officers, while also taking on general account payable duties. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding your team members, ensuring high-quality output and meeting deadlines. Additionally, you will work closely with the finance operations manager to achieve collective goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, preferably in a leadership or management capacity. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

As an accounting team supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring a small team of account payable officers
  • Ensuring quality output and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborating with the finance operations manager to achieve collective goals
  • Developing and implementing process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable
  • Experience in a leadership or management capacity is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
