SEM Marketing Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity to drive performance marketing for a well-established early education brand that continues to grow across Australia.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEM marketer to manage our Google Ads and SEO strategy, ensuring high-performing campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute high-performing Google Ads and Meta Business campaigns, optimising for conversions and return on investment (ROI)
  • Improve organic search performance through technical SEO, content optimisation, and link-building strategies
  • Analyse campaign performance using GA4 and other analytics tools, providing actionable insights to inform future decisions
  • Identify high-value keywords and market trends to improve paid and organic search performance
  • Collaborate with our internal marketing team to enhance landing pages for better conversion rates
  • Optimise local centre pages to rank on page one of search results, leveraging location-specific keywords and high-quality content to improve visibility
  • Present strategy updates and performance reports to internal stakeholders, highlighting growth opportunities
  • Rigorously test and refine ad copy, bidding strategies, and audience targeting to achieve optimal results
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in SEM marketing, with a proven track record of managing high-performing Google Ads campaigns
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
  • Experience with WordPress CMS, including basic HTML, CSS, and plugin management
  • Proven ability to analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights
  • Experience using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and other analytics tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex data and strategy to key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns at scale
