You'll be assisting in the development and dissemination of "market intelligence and analysis" and helping to support Senior brokers in the development of price and market delivery services.
Role ResponsibilitiesPromote ICAP as a company and support management and/or senior brokers in facets of the businessHelping to maintain and develop existing client relationships.Assist in the identification of prospective new clients and engage where deemed appropriate.Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the products and markets in which we participate.Monitor markets and follow financial news and developmentsAssist in the development and dissemination of "market intelligence and analysis" and helping to support Senior brokers in the development of price and market delivery servicesGain full operational knowledge and understanding of the "trade lifecycle"Understand the desk's business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clientsAssisting in the on-boarding new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding teamLeverage both product and client understanding to Identify internal cross selling opportunitiesEnsure all market communication is on recorded mediums approved by the companyUnderstand pertinent regulation within the evolving regulatory landscapeSupport a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policiesExercise independent judgement and act with integrity, care, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and escalate issues as appropriate.Experience / CompetencesEssentialCommunicates effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholdersBuild relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible and adapts communication style to suit audienceDemonstrates strong customer focusDemonstrates ability to work effectively with othersConstructively handles disagreements to reach a resolutionDemonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goalsGoes that "extra mile"Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environmentsEnjoys a challenge and is able to escalateDoes not give up easilyProjects personal credibilityInteracts confidently without being overbearingAbility to work effectively in a high pressure environmentKeeps emotions under control in difficult situationsHandles criticism constructivelyProfessional IntegrityAble to demonstrate honesty, integrity and professionalismWorks ethically and shows respect for both professional and company valuesExcellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approachStrong analytical ability and problem solving skillsJob Band & Level: Professional, 4#ICAP#LI-ENTNot The Perfect Fit?
