**WPHU Information and Systems Manager (Temporary Fulltime)**

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional with an advanced understanding of systems analysis and design, data collection processes, practices and technologies and the ability to create business intelligence to join the Western Public Health Unit (WPHU) based at Western Health. The Western Public Health Unit has been established to strengthen the public health response to infectious diseases and other health issues. The Unit is part of a system of three metropolitan Public Health Units and six regional Public Health Units providing a state-wide system of public health delivery and oversight.

**About the role**

The Information and Systems Manager will work closely with the WPHU Leadership team to establish and maintain contemporary information management and reporting systems. The role will be responsible for operational reporting and day to day management of a range of systems communication and information systems supporting efficient and effective integration and use.

**About you**

To be successful in the role you will possess:

- Experience developing requirements into actionable business intelligence strategies, roadmaps and data solutions
- Experience in information, technology and workflow systems analysis and design
- Experience with data collection processes, practices and technologies and ability to analyse performance data, create business intelligence and use data to inform decisions
- Strong project management including design and outcome reporting
