Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for a supervisor in the Pre-Analytical Department. The successful
applicant must have proven experience in Pathology testing.

This role is a permanent, full time, Monday to Friday with participation in the rotating roster. The
rostered hours are 7.00am to 10.00pm. Participation in the weekend roster may also be required.

The main duties include specimen handling, entry of test information, preparation of samples for testing,
ensuring the GLP track is fully operational (according to system requirements) troubleshooting, data entry and
telephone results calls in our Specimen Reception and Data Entry Areas.

Essential requirements Include:

- Pathology laboratory experience with knowledge of the pre-analytics processes.
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently with close attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines
- and a clear understanding of the need to "get it right".
- Well-developed organisational, administrative and customer service skills.
- Proven training and supervisory skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly "can-do" attitude.
- Proven problem solving skills.
- The flexibility to change shift times at short notice to cover staff absences.
- Ability to work in both the Coniston and Nowra Laboratory in a rotational roster is essential for this
- position.
- Experience and knowledge (operations and troubleshooting) with GLP systems track.
