Laboratory Aide Pre-Analytical Department Nowra Laboratory

The Southern Pathology laboratory is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Aide to join its Pre-Analytical Department in Nowra.

As a Laboratory Aide, you will play a crucial role in the processing of specimens before testing, ensuring high-quality work and excellent client service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Specimen processing and data entry
  • Effective communication with clients via telephone
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Providing clear and concise information to clients
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
  • Working independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Flexibility in working a range of shifts, including Saturdays

While prior experience in pathology or medical terminology is beneficial, it is not essential. What we are looking for is a candidate who is eager to learn, can work efficiently, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should also have strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
