Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory support and/or specimen reception services and/or collection services, and provide assistance to laboratory staff under supervision, to deliver exceptional patient-focused service.
  • Maintain high-quality work output while managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service experience and skills, including effective communication with customers, patients, and clinical staff.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to investigate and resolve general issues within the laboratory environment.
  • Accurately record and maintain data using high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Requirements
  • A working knowledge of all aspects of the laboratory environment relevant to the Microbiology Department.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Awareness of legislation, policies, and requirements relevant to a laboratory setting.
