- **$35.03 (hourly rate inclusive of 25% casual loading) + 11% Superannuation**

**About the Role**

We're on the lookout for passionate international students to join us as **International Student Officers.**

In this role, you'll not only gain paid work experience but also receive invaluable mentorship from our expert team management within the local government sector. Your mission? To support international students on their pathway to future employment while making a tangible impact on the vibrant cultural life and diversity of Melbourne.

From designing and delivering impactful experiences to celebrating the contributions of international students, this role offers a thrilling opportunity to shape the narrative of student life in our city.

As an International Student Officer, you'll be the face of Melbourne, championing our city's goals and initiatives to student communities worldwide. You'll be at the forefront of co-designing, leading, and promoting initiatives from our esteemed International Education team, including curated tours, exclusive workshops, and engaging surveys. With opportunities for professional development, leadership training, and hands-on experience in public speaking and project management, you'll gain the skills and confidence needed to thrive in any future career path.
- **What you will bring to the role**:

- You are a** current** international student studying a relevant tertiary qualification to Diploma level in **project and business management, economics or global** **studies**.
- Understanding of the international education sector and sensitivity towards the current issues affecting international students.
- Have an interest in developing and running wellbeing programs and events.
- Requires some experience in project management, relationship management and customer service skills through volunteering or other work experience.
- Confident interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly with people from varied background.
