Job Description

As a Wellbeing Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing early intervention and support to international students facing academic or personal challenges.

This role promotes student safety, inclusion, and a smooth transition to university life. You will work closely with staff and students to create a welcoming environment that fosters academic success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide wellbeing support to international students through regular meetings, emails, and phone calls.
  • Collaborate with staff and students to promote student safety and inclusion by developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Administer tasks related to the ESOS Act 2000, National Code 2018, and Child Safe Standards in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in providing wellbeing support to international students, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong administrative skills and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and liaison with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
