In this role you will be responsible for leading and conducting geological assessments for any proposed activities covering both existing and future field strategies, as well as optimising future asset plans.

You will provide technical leadership with respect to geological inputs, risks and uncertainties including static modelling subsurface data, whilst managing a team.

**More about the role**:

- Lead and conduct the geological assessment of proposed activities for existing and future field strategies including optimising future asset plans.
- Provide technical leadership with respect to geological inputs, risks and uncertainties including static modelling subsurface data.
- Co-ordinate studies and trials to de-risk future DPs and maintain lowest cost of supply. Liaise with other groups to understand new technologies and their applicability to the asset.
- Project development, co-ordination and management of DPs in accordance with Deliver Wells and Manage Information process.
- Lead, build and maintain static models incorporating subsurface uncertainty that are the basis for APLNG forecasting, and ensure they are current best technical estimate.
- Lead, mentor and develop the team

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role you will come with a degree in Geoscience, together with extensive post-qualification experience and demonstratable team management skills. You will possess superior communications skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.

**More about you**:

- Experience working with cross disciplinary asset teams in reservoir characterisation and project development preferably in CSG
- Ability to respond to changing environments in response to changing development scenarios
- Strong JV capability
- Excellent analytical skills, opportunity identification and business development acumen
