Senior Geoscience Advisor

This position provides specialist and authoritative advice on infrastructure planning, development, and engineering services. Key responsibilities include leading allocated projects or elements of projects, conducting peer reviews and technical competency assessments, and building partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate good development outcomes.

Strong qualifications in geoscience or environmental engineering, registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland, and post-graduate qualifications are highly advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate high-level skills as an individual and part of a senior management team. This includes the ability to shape strategic and operational thinking around complex problems, inspire a sense of purpose, and contribute to better outcomes for Queenslanders.
