Our business is seeking a Director, Credit Risk to spearhead innovative credit risk strategies for our fast-scaling lending and credit business.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to create and implement diverse credit products tailored to the evolving needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
Manage the entire credit lifecycle, including origination, servicing, and collections, to optimize loan portfolio performance.
Develop and maintain close relationships with balance sheet partners, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders, providing transparent communication on credit performance and risk management.
Continuously improve our credit risk management strategy and policies to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor the credit and risk management teams, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in credit risk management, preferably within fintech, lending, credit cards, or unsecured loans with scale-up/startup growth experience.
Strong business acumen and extensive experience driving credit risk strategy and acquisition underwriting for credit cards or unsecured loans.
