Strategic Credit Risk Specialist
About the Role
This is a key position within our Retail Credit Risk team, focusing on strategic risk and business initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of credit risk data to support analytical and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement credit risk data systems to drive informed decision-making
Ensure data governance compliance and accuracy
Analyze trends and patterns to identify emerging risks and key insights
Contribute to the development of the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS)
Provide regular portfolio analysis and reporting
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in credit risk or portfolio analytics within banking or financial services
Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power Bi, R, or Python
Relevant university degree with above-average academic achievements in mathematics, commerce, or statistics
Excellent analytical and report writing skills
Developed problem-solving skills
