Job Title: Strategic Credit Risk Expert

ING is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Retail Credit portfolio team. As a key member of the team, you will utilize your data analysis and portfolio management skills to contribute to strategic risk and business initiatives.

About The Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of credit risk data to support analytical and reporting needs. You will provide oversight on data governance, ensuring compliance with established frameworks and maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of credit risk strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in credit risk modeling and analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in credit risk management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in credit risk or portfolio analytics within banking or financial services.
  • Exposure across SAS, SQL, Tableau or other reporting tools beneficial.
  • Relevant university degree with above average academic achievements in mathematics, commerce, or statistics.
  • Excellent data interrogation, numerical, and report writing skills.
  • Developed problem-solving skills.
