Our business is seeking a Director, Credit Risk to spearhead innovative credit risk strategies for our fast-scaling lending and credit business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to create and implement diverse credit products tailored to the evolving needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Manage the entire credit lifecycle, including origination, servicing, and collections, to optimize loan portfolio performance.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with balance sheet partners, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders, providing transparent communication on credit performance and risk management.
  • Continuously improve our credit risk management strategy and policies to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the credit and risk management teams, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in credit risk management, preferably within fintech, lending, credit cards, or unsecured loans with scale-up/startup growth experience.
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience driving credit risk strategy and acquisition underwriting for credit cards or unsecured loans.
