A State Government Department is looking for an Strategic Communication Coordinator to join their team. This role requires you to work full time hours, on an initial temporary basis.

**Your new role**

As an experienced an Strategic Communication Coordinator your daily duties will include but won't be limited to:

- Responsible for prioritising and co-ordinating strategic, contemporary communication and engagement strategies and activities
- Prepare content to support communication plans
- Work collaboratively and supportively with key agency staff
- Seeks to understand the broader environment and changes that may impact the work of the team
- Sets clear performance expectations for the team
- Identify opportunities for team development to ensure the right skills are available to the organisation
- Build and manage productive and effective relationships and partnerships
- Uses patterns, trends and connections to analyse multiple levels of information and solve problems
- Strive for continuous improvement and employs solution focused thinking
- Proactively engage in personal development and learning
- Undertakes other duties as required.
