As Australia's first original fintech, direct sales and digital funnel optimisation are core to our DNA. We're looking for a **Digital Acquisition & Marketing Effectiveness Leader** to drive the Digital Acquisition Media and Marketing Effectiveness function within ING Australia. Managing a highly specialised team of digital performance marketing, channel and analytics specialists, this requires a highly data driven, commercial, digital marketing expert to take our performance marketing & sales optimisation function to the next level.

You'll report directly into the Head of Marketing & partner closely with the wider Marketing Management team including Brand, Product & Customer Marketing, Marketing Operations to guide our marketing & acquisition strategy. You'll be as comfortable presenting to the senior retail banking team, demonstrating sales outcomes from our paid marketing activities, as you are helping your squads prioritise their sprint backlogs and negotiating media deals with digital publishers.

As a digital marketing native you'll be required to partner together with the broader Retail Leadership Team, Product Tribes, Digital Optimisation & Product Marketers to ensure there is a deep level of alignment between business priorities, initiatives and investment - ensuring we're maximizing our digital marketing investment though the funnel to drive efficient CPA's and sales outcomes.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Driving our performance marketing strategy - ensuring it is data driven, with recommendations aligned to Retail product tribe requirements.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships (and negotiating media deals) with senior stakeholders in key media vendors Google & Meta, key affiliates / aggregators in order to ensure ING is keeping up with emerging trends, new innovations and short/long term opportunities that align to our sales acquisition strategy.
- Spearheading marketing investment analysis and ensure marketing LT & product tribes are made aware of key drivers and best use of marketing investment dollars.
- Partnering with Brand & ATL marketing team to ensure all integrated campaigns are optimised for conversion.
- Guiding expert teams on how to leverage MMM tools for evaluation and optimisation of marketing activity.
- Partnering together with Retail Finance & Business Planning to manage / coordinate the Marketing budget and operationalise billings, expense tracking & spend forecasting.

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Ideally 10+ years' experience in a digital marketing, optimization, analytics role within a marketing function and/or media agency.
- Deep experience working with modelled data and provision of insights and agile operating models as you will be setting up multiple squads to deliver digital campaigns and test & learn pilots.
- Deep understanding of paid conversion media - across SEM, SEO, social, display, affiliates / aggregators, AND owned digital channels - app, websites, blog etc.
- Experience working with technology platforms such as Google suite, Adobe, Tableau and Visual IQ and online / digital analytics and reporting.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills and the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership.
- A passion and experience managing high performing teams
- Proven experience connecting with & managing media / agency vendors and governance.
