Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Digital Acquisition Strategist to lead our digital acquisition efforts. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive the development of our digital acquisition tech strategy and execution using modern web technologies and robust engineering practices.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that will be responsible for building a high-performing product engineering team from scratch.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in NextJS, Expo, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CloudFlare, as well as experience working with GenAI chat experiences.

A strong understanding of testing, security, architecture, and robust design is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to balance stakeholder interests, strategic value, and customer outcomes, and will have strong team leadership and mentoring skills.

Persistent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude are must-haves.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technologists in our Unloan Acquisition Crew: the team responsible for attracting more customers to Unloan and converting them effectively.
  • Bring creativity, leadership, and problem-solving skills to build a world-class digital-first acquisition platform requiring a strong culture of experimentation and product thinking.
  • Operate as a mini-CTO to shape and champion Unloan's digital acquisition tech stack and team culture.
  • Lead the charge as a tech-savvy builder to create great customer experiences using the latest technology, including GenAI, NextJS, Expo, TypeScript, GraphQL, CloudFare, and all on the Azure stack, focusing on shipping value quickly.
  • Manage the effective use of modern behavioural analytics, martech, and experimentation tools (like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and LaunchDarkly).
What We're Looking For

We're interested in hearing from expert hands-on engineers with deep experience in NextJS and/or Expo, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CloudFlare. You should have expertise in working on or delivering a GenAI chat experience.

You must have a track record of building collaborative, high-performing engineering teams.

Persistent, demonstrating grit and a can-do attitude to solving some of the biggest challenges facing the business is a must.
