**Where you come in**:
In this permanent role, we will have the opportunity to negotiate working days and hours for the right applicant. Ideally, the preferred working arrangement would include full time hours Monday - Friday, however there is the option to negotiate some reduced working days for the right applicant.

This role is based in Toowoomba, where you will work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation program. Please note: the role attracts some mínimal rostered on-call responsibilities for all staff members.

As part of our Ada's Haven DFV Refuge and Outreach Program, you'll report to our Team Leader.

- You will make an impact by: _
- Facilitating the provision of safe accommodation to women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
- Conducting thorough risk and needs assessments, within a trauma informed, Safe and Together case management framework.
- Working with families to source appropriate, safe and sustainable accommodation free from violence and/or connecting families with services to meet their needs.
- Work collaboratively with a team of specialists to provide best-practice, integrated responses to DFV.

- A Bachelor/Diploma of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience in a similar service
- Knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence, including the impact on children
- Experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Current drivers' licence
