**Family Support Specialist**

Our organization is dedicated to providing support and services to families in need. We are currently seeking a Family Support Specialist to join our team.

As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing intensive support services to vulnerable families through the delivery of culturally inclusive case management and interventions. This role requires a sound understanding of risk assessment frameworks and a clear expressed understanding of the complex challenges facing families in contemporary society.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or related discipline, as well as a valid Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or Open Drivers Licence and a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide intensive support services to highly vulnerable families.
  • Deliver culturally inclusive case management and interventions.
  • Assess and manage risk factors in family situations.
