Family Support Specialist

Our team of dedicated professionals is seeking an experienced Family Support Specialist to provide intensive support to vulnerable families in Toowoomba and surrounding suburbs. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families to address complex challenges and help them achieve safety, stability, and resilience through individualized family support plans.

  • You will provide hands-on support to each family, including face-to-face sessions focused on behavior management, trauma recovery, and parenting skill development.

  • You will monitor family progress and maintain detailed case documentation to ensure family goals are consistently met.
  • You will adapt to flexible scheduling based on each family's needs to maximize engagement and support outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in intensive family support, particularly in crisis intervention, mental health, and family crisis situations.
  • Strong documentation and case management skills to capture the family's journey and support plan outcomes.
  • Flexibility and crisis intervention skills to respond effectively to each family's unique challenges.
  • Collaborative communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members.
  • A goal-oriented approach focused on empowering families for sustainable success.
