**The Role**

As the **Workshop Manager**, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our workshop operations. You will lead a team of skilled tradespeople, ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Oversee the day-to-day operations** of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- ** Lead, mentor, and manage a team** of tradespeople, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- ** Plan, schedule, and allocate resources** to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
- ** Ensure**all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- ** Monitor**and manage workshop budgets, costs, and inventory levels.
- ** Liaise with clients**, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and excellent service delivery.
- ** Drive continuous improvement** initiatives to enhance workshop performance and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
**Key Qualifications and Experience**:
- ** Previous experience** in a similar Workshop Manager or leadership role, preferably in the industrial or engineering sector.
- ** Strong technical knowledge** of hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical systems (preferred but not essential).
- ** Excellent leadership and team** management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- ** Exceptional**organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering results.
- ** Strong communication** and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- ** A commitment** to workplace health and safety practices.
- ** Relevant trade qualifications** or technical certifications (highly desirable).
