Due to strong business growth we are seeking an experienced Fleet Workshop Supervisor to take charge of our well-equipped workshop and ensure the reliable performance of our 24/7 heavy vehicle fleet.This is a leadership role where you will be accountable for the performance of the workshop team, driving productivity, safety, and quality at all times.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will play a critical part in keeping our operation running at peak efficiency.RequirementsHeavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Essential)Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in a heavy vehicle workshop environment (Essential)HR/HC driver licence (Highly regarded)Forklift Licence (Highly regarded)Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and manage a team of workshop technicians to deliver high-quality servicing and repairsEnsure all work is completed safely, on time, and to company standardsMonitor and drive team performance, providing clear direction and accountabilityManage workflow scheduling, parts requirements, and job allocationMaintain strong compliance with WHS policies and proceduresSupport continuous improvement initiatives to maximise fleet uptime and reduce downtime costsSkills & ExperienceDemonstrated leadership experience in a workshop supervisory roleStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressureExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate a teamHigh-level organisational skills with attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with workshop management systemsWhat We OfferPermanent, full-time role with immediate startAbove award wages plus overtime opportunitiesDay & Afternoon shifts (with rotating Saturday overtime)A supportive management team with a focus on resultsModern, safety-focused workshop with strong company investment in equipment and people
