**The Role**

Reporting to the General Manager - Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for the capability and project leadership of a team consists of 25 civils professionals which is supported and complements by a wider infrastructure services team of roads and highways team of 60 professionals.

The team you lead will be working on civil inputs and projects across a range of sectors, including:

- Transport Infrastructure
- Rail
- Hydro and Energy
- Reconstruction/Resilience projects
- Industrial and Power

The firm has built up a strong, diverse team of highly capable professionals yet still retains its close-knit team culture.Their teams provide services across the full lifecycle of a project including project conception, environmental planning, concept design, detailed design, asset management and site decommissioning. Their loyal client base comes to them for their practical advice and collaborative approach.

**Key Responsibilities**

Capability leadership
- Undertaking workforce planning, sourcing of project resources, along with identifying training and overseeing professional development and coaching
- Ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and task assigned

Project leadership
- As a project leader who have a broad understanding of managing a diverse team in a complex environment and able to work with different discipline collaboratively

Improve commercial outcomes
- Raising the performance of projects in terms of profitability
- Making sure the product quality is as good as it can be
- Driving continuous improvement

**Experience /Skills Required**
- Ability to motivate teams, build strong capabilities and develop talent
- Experience in performance management, career development and coaching/mentoring
- Ability to lead and work in an agile team environment, effectively collaborating with other disciplines
- Has a customer service mindset with a good level of understanding the needs of client or internal resources and able to make appropriate business decisions
- Willing to get involved in bid/proposal focus
