Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy.
Manage and monitor cybersecurity systems to ensure optimal performance.
Lead compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Respond to security incidents and breaches, providing timely updates to senior management.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the business.
Evaluate and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet our security standards.
Provide regular security updates and training to employees.
Establish relationships with regulatory bodies to stay informed about the latest developments and trends.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in information security management.
Proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Deep knowledge of Australian cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
Experience with risk management, incident response, and forensic investigations.
Strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
