**The Organisation**

Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide's most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium). Based at the Adelaide Convention Centre, a rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, hardworking and well organised Sales & Function Coordinator to join our local Functions & Business Events team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the General Manager - Functions & Business Events, you will be responsible for various administrative functions including responding to enquiries, maintaining client records, processing quotations and converting them into confirmed bookings, conducting site inspections and preparing event orders, function sheets, invoicing and event planning for clients.

**About You**
- Excellent skills in word processing and general computing, including Word, Excel and EBMS
- Genuine desire to pursue a career in sales and functions planning in the events industry
- Pleasant and courteous by nature, with a strong customer service focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional personal presentation
- Sound business acumen and ability to work on own initiative
- Profitability and performance focused
- Previous hospitality and function sales experience
- Capable of working out of regular business hours in line with business needs
