WingIt Hospitality oversees the event management and catering for many venues in Adelaide, and has a thriving mobile catering operation. Position Overview

We're seeking a dynamic Sales & Events Coordinator to drive our catering business growth and manage event bookings across our locations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and loves creating memorable experiences for families and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Generate new catering leads through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to booking confirmation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses
  • Achieve monthly catering revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our catering packages

Event Coordination:

  • Coordinate catering events for groups ranging from intimate gatherings to corporate functions
  • Manage event logistics including menu planning, dietary requirements, and venue coordination
  • Liaise with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Handle event bookings across all locations
  • Coordinate special events and promotional activities across all locations

Customer Service:

  • Respond to catering inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Provide detailed quotes and proposals using our per-person pricing structure
  • Maintain accurate records of all bookings and customer interactions
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience from initial contact through event completion

Administrative Duties:

  • Process catering orders and coordinate with kitchen teams
  • Manage event calendars across multiple locations
  • Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics
  • Support with social media content related to events and catering
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years experience in sales, events, or hospitality
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with catering or food service industry preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Local knowledge of Adelaide market advantageous
  • Passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences

Location & Hours
  • Primary base: At our offices in North Adelaide
  • Travel between locations as required
  • Full-time position with some weekend and evening work required
  • Flexible arrangements considered for the right candidate
