A broad range of leave entitlements, including 12 weeks of paid parental leaveAccess to mental health and wellbeing initiatives, including confidential counselling and education programsGenerous discounts on products and services, including pet food, retail, and vet servicesOpportunities for learning and development to support your roleStaff parking and a renovated work environmentPosition Purpose :The role involves managing major donor relationships, prospecting for funding, and cultivating supporters to increase engagement and giving, aligned with the Philanthropy Annual Plan.Position Responsibilities :Secure new major donors and upgrade existing donors through targeted solicitation to meet fundraising targetsDevelop and maintain relationships with major donors through calls, meetings, etc.Collaborate with other departments to identify cross-functional engagement opportunitiesCoordinate engagement activities for major donors, including those held by the CEOCreate and execute tailored communications such as updates, acknowledgments, and impact reportsMonitor and report on donor engagement and moves management in the CRMUnderstand RSPCA NSW funding focusesDevelop materials like prospectuses and proposalsProvide regular reporting and analysisServe as the primary contact for major donors' inquiriesParticipate in RSPCA events and functionsWork with the Manager, Philanthropy, to meet financial KPIs and goalsCollaborate with the philanthropy team to deliver activities in the annual planBuild positive relationships within and outside the fundraising teamEnsure attention to detail in written and data recordsComply with organisational policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requiredQualifications : Tertiary qualification in a relevant area (preferred)Experience :Minimum three years in a not-for-profit environmentMinimum five years in fundraising, communications, or marketingProven success in soliciting major gifts and communicating impactExperience in relationship building and bespoke communicationsDeveloping proposals, presentations, and pitchesExperience working with the CEO on solicitation and engagement activitiesConfident in asking for donations and delivering proposalsSkills :Strategic relationship building with high-value donorsHigh-level written and verbal communication skillsEmotional intelligence and empathyDeep fundraising knowledge, especially in major gifts and campaignsProposal writing skills that inspire givingFinancial literacy and understanding of budgetsExperience with CRM systems like Salesforce or Raiser's EdgeSelf-motivated with initiative and driveCollaborative mindset across teamsDiscretion and high ethical standardsJ-18808-Ljbffr
