**About the role**:
The key responsibilities of the National Sales Assistant - Independents to assist with the account administration of Metcash, Campbells & other Key Independent MSO accounts.

The National Sales Assistant (Independents) will assist the National Account Manager & National MSO Manager for all Categories with the PDR's (promotional discount requests) and general customer pricing/accrual administration.

The role will require accurate and timely delivery of task whilst working confidently with numbers/data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain the promotional discount requests/accruals
- Communicate to the field sales team the latest confirmed promotional programs on a fortnightly basis
- Monitor, track and report selected customer weekly catalogue activity
- Assist the pricing /claims co-ordinator with clarity over promotional discount request queries.
- Support National Account Executive and National Account Managers with adhoc requests

**About you**:

- Prior experience at account assistant roles in FMCG or like industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with internal stakeholders and various levels of management
- Action and results orientated
- Ability to proactively look for improvements and generate new ways of working
