This role provides an opportunity to join our high performing team and work with other Engineers including Senior and Principal Engineers who are leaders in their areas of expertise.You will be responsible for:Design and documentation of civil engineering for small to medium sized projects including both greenfield and brownfield developments, building civil, and active transport and roads projects.Civil site re-grading design, road design, stormwater & overland flow management system, bulk earthworks, WSUD and water quantity across a broad spectrum of projects.Coordination with Tonkin's interdisciplinary team Australia-wide and architects, external consultants, contractors, and clients.Escalating critical or complex design issues to senior/principal engineers and project managers.Assist in scoping for proposals and variations.Complying with our quality, WHS and other systems.You will be working towards (or have already commenced):Attending and participating in design coordination meetingsDesign and documentation of civil and stormwater engineering elementsIdentifying and assessing design risks and communicating these to senior engineersCollaborating and working well within a team as well as the drive to grow your careerAbout You:To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:4-6 years of professional experience with demonstrated civil design experience within urban development and /or built environment engineering.Working towards CPEng and NERExperience in delivering civil projects from concept to detailed design to constructionDemonstrated skills in 12d modeling for both civil and stormwater aspects of projectsDesign capabilities, AutoCAD, Vehicle Tracking, Drains and MUSIC.Familiarity with Austroads, Australian Standards, Council Development Control Plans, DA consent conditions.Experience working and coordinating with architects, landscape architects, project managers, contractors, Authorities and clients.Experience coordinating with internal project design resources.Ideally exposed and/or familiar with Tuflow and/or 2D surface modelling.This is the ideal position for someone who is committed and passionate about furthering their career and would like to join a high performing team who are recognised for technical excellence, finding creative and progressive ways to deliver value for our clients, and putting a value based human touch into crafting solutions that have wide reaching impact.We offer all staff truly flexible work arrangements, access to a broad range of technical and non-technical development opportunities (including leadership development training and personal coaching for our internal leaders), a wellness allowance, monthly wellness challenges aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, fresh fruit in our office and access to an EAP which provides an extensive range of resources including access to counselling, legal and financial advice.Good people.
