**Rostering Coordinator/Care Coordinator - 33 Hours/Week (Mostly Remote)**

- Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

**The Role**
We are seeking a Rostering Coordinator/Care Coordinator to join our team. This position involves assigning support workers to shifts, managing schedules, organising participant group activities, and ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate care. You will be working mostly remotely, with occasional in-person meetings. In the future, should we acquire an office, attendance may be required.
This is a casual position of **33 hours per week** with the following working hours:
- **Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM**:
- **Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM**
There is potential for this to convert to part-time.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with clients to understand their rostering needs and preferences.
- Roster support workers for client shifts, ensuring services are adequately staffed in accordance with participant rosters of care.
- Work with management to conduct workforce planning and optimise support worker availability.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, support workers, and management.
- Organise replacement staff efficiently to ensure continuous care for clients.
- Communicate with staff regarding their schedules and any changes that may occur.
- Ensure accurate documentation of staff information and client care requirements.
- Act within legal, ethical, and moral boundaries to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
- **Event Management**: Organise and manage group activities for participants, such as the existing Dungeons & Dragons and bowling groups, as well as possible future activities like fishing, or gaming groups.
**Key Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in rostering, scheduling, or care coordination (preferably in the disability sector) **or** a minimum 1 year of support work with a Cert 3 in Individual Support or a willingness to obtain one.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service focus.
- Experience with rostering software (experience with ShiftCare preferred but not mandatory).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely.
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A Working with Children Check is required.
- First Aid/CPR and Police Check is required.
