Workshop Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead our team of tradespeople.

The successful candidate will oversee the efficient operation of our workshop, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled tradespeople to achieve optimal workshop performance.
  • Develop and implement SWMS, pre-starts, and toolbox talks to drive a strong safety culture.
  • Manage planned maintenance programs, refurbishments, and component replacement for diesel-powered mining equipment.
  • Evaluate and improve workshop operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical, or Fabrication trade.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
  • Strong knowledge of underground or surface mining equipment.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite applications.
  • A proactive, accountable, and safety-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
