Clemenger Group Limited is a group of companies involved in advertising and marketing communications throughout Australia and New Zealand. We operate across the marketing services spectrum, with specialist companies offering clients best-of-category expertise in various disciplines.
Clemenger Group Limited operates a centralised accounts payable function for our agencies in Australia, and we have an exciting role available for an Accounts Payable Officer.
In your role, you will build your profile across a diverse range of agencies, gaining exposure to all aspects of the accounts payable function in a creative industry. Working closely with a vibrant centralised accounts payable team and with our finance teams across the group, this role is fast-paced and interesting.
The day to day
- Supporting the management of the end-to-end accounts payable function, including monitoring inboxes and work status
- Answering of team member / agency queries, and training / co-mentoring of staff
- Data entry - supplier invoices, talent supplier invoices, expense forms, corporate credit cards, supplier details, et cetera
- Preparing payment files for EFT processing
- Provide ad hoc support to the Accounts Payable Manager and Group Finance Manager as required
- Process improvement - proposing and implementing best practice for accounts payable policy and process

**Requirements**:

- You will need to have excellent time management, communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills
- You will need to have a basic understanding of accounting fundamentals, and past experience in accounts payable and data entry. Past studies in accounting will be well regarded
- Past experience with BCC / Spectra accounting systems, and / or past experience in a media and advertising industry finance role will be highly regarded
