Are you experienced in aged care but want a more administrative role within an ever-growing industry? A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at McLean Care for you to be the new Client Services Coordinator.

In your new role your primary responsibility will be coordinating the admissions and waitlists across McLean Care's STRC (Short Term Restorative Care) program with the requirement of assisting with other programs as directed.

As the Client Services Co-Ordinator, this role is the first point of contact for all
enquiries relating to flexible care service places and is a key role for driving
occupancy within all of our programs through networking and working with lead
source generators.

As well as assisting clients and their representatives with the process of
admission into our programs, you will have a sensitive consumer-orientated,
enablement-focused approach will be utilised at all times.

This role will handle enquiries, provide information to prospective clients and
their families, and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure
a smooth admission process for clients.

About you:

- You will have a strong customer focus with a mindset coupled with strong communication skills to ensure accurate and easy to understand information about services is given to our prospective cutomers
- Ability to establish successful networking and relationship building skills
- Sales and coaching / promotional skills with the ability to convert leads
and enquiries into customers
- Strong organisational, problem solving and prioritisation skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Empathetic and caring manner with the ability to listen and understand
when talking with customers
- You will work well unsupervised, be reliable, approachable and be patient with
clients and families
- You will have the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- You will have the flexibility and ability to work on-call within a rotating roster
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Understanding of sales and client engagement processes
- Understanding of the aged care environment and have a passion for
helping people secure the support they require to maintain and
optimise their independence
- Experience in the co-ordination and delivery of administrative services relating to health, community, aged care or similar services / programs.
- A certificate III in Aged Care or similar
- Prior experience or knowledge of home care packages
- Current unencumbered driver's licence
